as a stockbroker i can tell you that last september, microsoft offered 25 billion however yahoo declined and counter suggested a price in the 42 billion dollar range.

It will simply change ownership and you'll surely see more "connection" to speak of suggested products to buy that are microsoft related however nothing will really change... Microsoft is a giant, an absolute powerhouse and they may not be fan favorite of so many other companies but they've gotten better year after year, even if Vista sucks to so many. lol

Yes it's true and in my opinion.. yahoo is worth 60 billion.

Microsofts "non headquarters" in Dubai, which are twice the size of their "headquarters" in Redmon suggest there is much more than meets the eye to the average folk.
