Can I buy Microsoft Word seperately?

I was very surprosed at the cost of Microsoft Home and Student ($150). Then I realized it came with Excel, PowerPoint, and one note. Is there anyway i can just get Word by itself? I'm low on cash.

Yes, as a matter of fact, and from Microsoft itself, as well.

Check out this URL, especially the second group of listings.

Note that the higher of the two prices quoted is for a full version of that program and the lower, for upgrades from existing software. Read the list of upgrade-qualifying software carefully: MS Works is often one, and may have come on your machine.

Hope that helps.
You can buy any part separately though generally it costs more

I think if you can find MS Works Home it comes with Word nowadays
If you're a student you can get it for 59.95 plus tax. It's a good steal.

Completely free, and compatible with microsoft office products.
NO. If you are low on cash use WORDPAD it does the same thing as word.
I don't think so......

But on some computars that you buy, there's like maybe like a Wordpad or Notepad or something that's close to it.
