Does this occur in only one particular document? If yes, then open the document, press Alt+O,C | click on One | Apply to: Whole document | OK. Even if "One" already appears to be selected, click on it anyway.

Or does this occur in all new documents? If yes, then locate and open your Normal.dot (Word 2003 or earlier) or Normal.dotm (Word 2007) file as described in Method 1 in http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/Blan... . Press Alt+O,C | click on One | Apply to: Whole document | OK. Even if "One" already appears to be selected, click on it anyway. Type a character or two and delete what you just typed. Save the Normal.dot or Normal.dotm file and close it.

Microsoft Word...HELP!?hijack this

When one page is full, Word will automatically go to the next page. Perhaps your View is set to the Normal mode... try switching to the Print Layout mode from the View menu.

If you want to force a page break, press CTRL + Enter.
If you want to manually move to the next page, press Ctrl+Enter/Ctrl+Return.
It should do this automatically, but if it's not (which i've never seen) just put the cursor where you'd like the page to end and INSERT--%26gt;BREAK--%26gt;PAGE BREAK
Have you tried the top menu INSERT/PAGEBREAK
