On Office.microsoft.com, Singapore is not one of the countries listed. What shall I do to avail the trial, if I am staying in Singapore?

Personally, I would skip MSOffice all together and get a copy of http://www.openoffice.org which is a 100% compatible suite with the same capabilities, only without the MS hubbub. Hope this helps
