Word Perfect and Microsoft Word help?

How do I convert Word Perfect documents to Microsoft Word? I had to download a free trial of Word Perfect to edit some documents that were e-mailed to me. How do I keep the changed document and be able to view it with Microsoft Word after my trial Word Perfect is over?

Right click the WordPerfect document file and select "Open With" (not to be confused with "Open"), then select Word. Word will automatically convert the document to a .doc file format.

If you wish to open from within Word, select File, Open, Change File Type to All Files or the WordPerfect file type, select document and Open.

Caution: if you make changes to the document, upon saving a dialog box will ask for confirmation that you want to save as a .doc, if you say "no" all changes will be lost.

Save your WordPerfect document as normal. Next, try to open the document with Word. Word is capable of converting the file itself, although you may be prompted to re-insert the office installation disk. All you need to do now, is save the file from Word.

Hopes this helps.x
just change the type of file so it is word capable.
