If you've worked at either Microsoft or Amazon.com, or have an intimate knowledge of the inner workings of either company, please respond.
If you could choose between working for Amazon.com, or a company that was in the process of being acquired by Microsoft (soon to be absorbed by Microsoft), which would you choose, and why?
Where would you work: Microsoft or Amazon.com, and why?norton internet security
Both are good companies, so it really depends on what you want. If you are seeking lots of career path options (including horizontal if not vertical transfers) and security: choose Microsoft. If you are looking for a creative atmosphere with more room to do "new" things, and be less conventional: go with Amazon. One catch with Amazon: the flip side of the "less conventional" coin is that the company is sometimes described as being almost cult-like in its enthusiasm.
